About Singer-Songwriter Elizabeth Gordon
Elizabeth Gordon is a pretty normal person. First impressions: twenty-something years old, long hair, funky red glasses, extroverted, optimistic, musical, and creative. She is wired her in a very unique fashion, which is why she is normal (we are all unique, you see?). What are the distinctives, you may ask? Well, Elizabeth is a Guelph-based singer-songwriter and piano player. You might hear her sing mellow contemplative worship tunes in a church auditorium, or you may hear her delve into some bluesy piano riffs in the corner of a small-town restaurant. Familiar with many types of venues, yet unfamiliar with everything musical that she wishes to know. What Elizabeth does know, however, is that as a musician, she has a few God-given obligations: to work on her musical craft, to be genuine, and to share her life and songs with others. She’s been working on that for most of her life—piano playing since age 7, songwriting since age 12, joined her first band at age 15, and began solo performances in 2005 when she released an album of contemporary Christian music. In 2007, she released a sampler CD with brand new songs more reflective of her musical explorations. These days she is songwriting for her next album, jumping in as a ‘sub’ in local bands and as needed (including Vertical Skyline, Kitchener, ON), performing local shows for fun--- and, of course, song writing, singing and playing the keys/piano at her home church. One thing is for certain: this is one normal person whose songs you will want to hear! To listen to Elizabeth’s latest tunes or to watch her say the alphabet backwards in under 4 seconds, look around this site! Contact her at info@elizabethgordon.net.

The Fall Chill Tour: Empowering Young Musicians and Music Lovers
This is the ideal live music experience: drawing in the listener to connect with positive music while empowering the artist to influence and inspire. It provides young musicians who are willing to network within the artistic community, with the opportunity to perform for audiences in venues that they may not otherwise have access to on an individual basis.
hey how are you! Nice to meet you on here too! I'll get back to you about the GMA, not sure now if I might have some friends out there that I can stay with , I'll keep you posted! Do you know of anyone else thats going too? Either way it would be nice to hook up when we are there. Hey nice tunes on here, where did you record? With Andy?
Hey Yo... what's going on Elizabeth? I think it's wonderful that you are so heavily involved in helping a talent such as Finochio reach as many people as possible.. but what about you? I really think you hold a lot of talent there, and can't help but fall in love with my wife over again every time I listen to your song "Blue with Jazz" (or something like that)!
Just wanted to drop by my Kudo's for being such a genuine artist...
i finally got my group headed in a better direction, with the help of Tim, one of the guitarests.. we are now aiming at playing a first gig around Christmas time. which will be interesting, because we still dont have a bass player we can count on.
so... on Wednesday after church I'll head over to your practice (you're practicing on the 22nd right??) and catch the end, and can we go over "Temporary Life" afterwards?
thanks.. October is a pretty good song.. im actually more a fan of your music though. but its always nice meeting up with new groups and see what else is out there.
Toronto is about to get a little bit brighter with the launch of WE’LO, as it pedals its way towards promoting a higher level of social and environmental consciousness. In an effort
dedicated to producing clean green energy to power the lights for non-profit, government and corporate organizations, WE’LO is announcing its green arrival – on wheels.
The WeloBike, a prototype designed to produce an average of 50w/h of electricity per cycling hour (and 100w/h for experienced cyclists), will be the main feature at the Inaugural
Product Launch Benefit Concert and Fundraiser, We’Local. In partnership with The Gateway homeless shelter, Welo is gearing up for this event, taking place in Toronto, ON at
the Annex Wreckroom, at 8pm on September 13, 2007.
Hosted by local emcee Ill Seer, the benefit concert will feature several different genres of progressive music, including a live instrumental PA by Vangel (5 ¼ Recordings / Urbnet),
folk-rock powerhouse Julia Churchill (Fire Escape Records), indie sensation Elephant, and the soulful hiphop of headliner The Runaway (Prophetic Poetic).
