Elizabeth Seward (and friends!!!)((Friends=including, but not at all limited to: Gary Leyder, John Northcraft, Judy Kang, Ben Britz, Kevin Sender. If you'd like to be a music-playing friend, whether on recordings or at live shows, let it be known. The more friends; the merrier.))

Current TV feature: "Elizabeth Seward was the lead singer of NYC based indie band Devola. That band has since ceased to exist and Elizabeth has moved on in several directions. She is a talented writer as well as musician/singer. "A New Town" is something of a departure form her former band Devola's hard edged punk sound. In it she goes into a more Sarah Barellis mode and she makes the transition rather easily. I like this song and would put it up against anything currently on the radio re; solo chicks doing ballad type songs." Full feature here
CMJ review by The Deli: "The vocals of Elizabeth Seward were thick and bellowing while the instrumentals pulsated evenly, creating a very intimate feeling, as if they were sharing their secrets. While there was that angst-y, singer/songwriter nature to their sound, the mixing of the instruments really did give way to a beautiful mix of folk and experimental acoustic rock." Full review here
