About me: I was born and raised in Hong Kong and came to the US to study dance at Juilliard when I was 17. After graduating I took up acting and studied with several teachers in NY. After that I moved to LA to take Sanford Meisner's master class for three years. I also studied with Milton Katselas and other teachers out here. It wasn't too long before I landed a guest starring role on "China Beach" working with Dana Delaney. I did movies, plays and more television over the years and finally was offered a dream role on "The Young and the Restless" playing Luan Volien opposite Peter Bergman in the first Asian-Pacific storyline ever on the show. While working on Y&R I became interested in directing and earned an MFA degree from The American Film Institute and made several short films. I'm still working in movies and television and look forward to directing a feature film sometime soon. Thank you for adding me as a friend. I have been watching Y&R since I was quite young with my mother, and I really enjoyed your character on the show. Amazing how time flies. I am planning to go to the tea in Vancouver with Kate Linder. All the best, and I hope to see your future works. Sincerely, Ernesto in Victoria, B.C.
