  • Bio

I'm Eliza Marshall, a professional flautist. I trained as a classical flautist at the Royal Academy of Music but also love to play my bamboo flutes and various genres such as folk and rock. I also love travel and adore the wilderness of Scotland, finding true inspiration from nature. I play in many chamber groups, whilst also freelancing, working in the session world on bands such as The Divine Comedy, Travis, The White Stripes and most recently Peter Gabriel and Ennio Morricone. I have also enjoyed being on TV shows including GMTV, TOTP and Michael Parkinson and at Koko and Shepherd's Bush Empire with the likes of Ladyhawke. I also enjoy playing on West End Shows Oliver, The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King and The Lord of the Rings, and with various orchestras including The Royal Ballet Sinfonia, BBC Concert Orchestra and London Mozart Players performing in venues as varied as The Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wembley Stadium. Music has taken me worldwide, but I particularly enjoy the music and culture of Africa where I worked as a volunteer for a few months in 2004. I loved playing with the local bands and learning improvisation skills, and I am now planning my own folky/world music band....It'll be interesting. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

    Hi there
Nuel's true passion is rock ,n' roll - not because he can't do anything else, but because he simply doesn't want to. Living his life the way he sees fit, realising his own dreams and feeling free: this is what drives the singer/songwriter from Zurich, who started gaining admirers three years ago with his debut album «Sweet Talker», diligently racking up airplay and proving he was just as at home on large stages as he was in small clubs. His second album «Drunken Flower» represents a consistent progression of his unpolished, fresh sounds. «When You Call» is its first offering, a pop-oriented number with a driving beat and a piano that sets a particular tone. Nuel's deliciously raw rock vocals create the  perfect contrast to this. You simply can't help believing him when he sings, "I will be there when you call". The strings in the background give added effect to this cinematic spectacle for the ears. Superb - and unashamedly catchy with it!
