    Elizabeth Blair Lewis, age 22, grew up in a small Midwest town outside of Chicago, Illinois. Liz began writing music in high school, but never really took her music career seriously until she came to Syracuse University, where she met her great friends, like her guitarist, Lucas Sacks, age 22, who shares her strong love for music. Through late night jam sessions, Lewis has made significant progression since her humble beginnings. Transitioning from her initial piano melodies to a more jazzy/bluesy feel, she has even been able to evolve from her favorite grand piano to writing music on guitar, but with a lot of help from Lucas (whom is also a member of Good Neighbors). Lewis has been spotted performing regularly at Funk 'N Waffles, Libba's Place at Hendricks Chapel, and even recently at SU's "Artists on the Brink" in October of 2009. Lewis was also one out of eight selected for Syracuse's "Inside the Words and Music Singer-Songwriter Showcase" that December 2009, and opened for country music singer Ashton Shepherd when she performed at Syracuse's "Women in Music" concert in January. She has had tremendous support from her family and friends, and their enthusiasm has helped her become more confident about her future in music. Lewis has a bubbly optimism in regards to her potential future in the music industry, hoping for the best, but enjoying the experiences along the way. She swears she will never let music ever become a chore, but rather savor whatever surprises and opportunities that may come her way. She is currently recording her upcoming EP, so check back regularly for progress! .. .. .. .. .. ..
