C'è lo Studio 54 di New York, ci sono "Disco Inferno" e "Funkytown", i pantaloni a zampa d'elefante e i capelli cotonati. C'è Stevie Wonder, il soul, la musica lounge, il rock, tanto rock, i Fugazi, tanti anni '80, un po' di elettronicaglie sparse qua e là e una buona dose di suoni posticci che si appiccicano addosso come figurine Panini sull'album dei calciatori. C'è poi una gran bella copertina, che richiama la grafica della vecchia collana Linea Tre. E c'è soprattutto una tonnellata di groove, che non ho mai capito che roba sia, però fa figo dirlo (credo che sia qualcosa che abbia a che fare col fatto che in "Modamare" c'è una gran batteria e una valanga di percussioni, ma credo anche che sia troppo facile dirla così).
