Ella Minnow began as a band for a birthday. The party needed music, so these five men stepped up to the plate. Out of this birthday Chase Celebration Fantastic Union was born, and from this birth Ella Minnow was spawned. Six months later Ella Minnow has grown into a band that is not only capable of bringing the rock, but of bringing people out to the rock. Their first release, The Quick & Clean EP was recorded in a few short weeks in the Fall of 2007, and did not take long to reach the ears of Denton music fans. Ella Minnow has also a track featured on the third Strawberry Fields compilation of Denton musicians, Denton Deluxe 3. While rehearsing and recording a new set of songs Ella Minnow has also stayed busy playing shows at Denton's famous Rubber Gloves, Hailey's Club, J & J's Old Dirty Basement, Dallas Scaregrounds, The Cavern and The Barley House.
