About me:
My name is Anli. I’m a Freelance Writer. I write different types of stuff, including: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Contemporary, Raw Edge, Poetry, Articles, Book Reviews, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Short Stories, Scientific and Archaeological Suppositions, and create my own inventions on paper, since my personal knowledge is vast. I own way over a hundred books, but give most books a poor rating, as they hardly live up to my expectations. Although some do and are a real joy to read; others are sickening and just shouldn't be read by anyone. I've been writing for over six years now, but I unconsciously wrote a lot when I was younger, too. I am currently working on my first Short Story Collection (since at the moment because I think novels are too much for me to cope with) entitled The Spirit, like I, Will Never Die. It’s basically a collection of sci-fi and fantasy stories and is going to be roughly 30,000 words long (about the starting point for a novel). I also study writing alongside my own projects. During the past two years I have been able to submit a wide range of writing pieces to competitions and magazines. Indeed, I would say that writing is my first love and there’s nothing I like better than to spend hours scribbling in my notebook.
I'm also currently studying the non-fiction section of the Writers Bureau Comprehensive Writing Course, and my assigned tutor is Sue Wilkes, a regular writer for BBC History. In regards to non-fiction, I'm pretty much interested in writing about new age and spiritual/psychic topics and mental health. I think one of the most enjoyable aspects of writing for me is learning about people's motives and also interviewing people and learning about their own personal stories and history. Writing is definitely a people job.
Despite all of the natural talents I have been granted, life has not been easy for me. I have suffered from Manic Depression for many years and have had some serious set-backs in life. I was also abused for most of my life, but am slowly recovering from this. I am a Zen Buddhist with strong spiritual beliefs, and it is my faith and determination to see things through that has made me able to live my life. Indeed, I believe I have come through the worst and that my life is only going to get better from this point onwards. I've currently given in to taking meds for my own well-being, and so that I can function from day to day.
I am also an amateur psychic Medium. I used to take weekly classes on Psychic Enhancement and Mediumship at the Elysium Psychic School set up my Craig and Jane Hamilton-Parker. I'm currently thinking about taking that up again, as I find it good for my well-being. I believe my life path greatly revolves around helping others, and I simply do not feel complete unless aiding in the healing of the universe in some way. I currently (at the last count [lol]) have five spirit guides who help me develop certain psychic, mediumistic and/or life skills. My main spiritual guide allows me to communicate and translate the messages I receive from the spirit world or plane and repeat these to me in an understandable way. I can also channel and give people information on past lives, events in their current lives that need dealing with and can communicate between those people and their spirit guide(s).
I’m Buddhist and have been for several years. I’ve been a vegetarian for almost fourteen years now and don’t drink, smoke or do drugs. I’m a pretty simple person all round. Buddhism has taught me to become more open and less judgmental (although I think we all struggle with the later at times) and has been my rock through the years. I meditate regularly and am also completely celibate. At the moment I’m not interested in dating, but if the right person was to come along and sweep my off my feet, I wouldn’t say no.

Hey Anli, How are you? Thank you so much for the CD, you were right about alot of things. I really appreciate your insight and your taking the time to do this fro me. It was so nice to actually see you:) I have been ill for a few weeks but feeling better now. Tony had a wreck on his bike last weekend and has to have surgery Monday am. He's pretty banged up but will be ok in about 6 weeks or so. Now he's keeping me busy since he can't really do much of anything on his own. I hope you are doing well dearxx Love, Robin
