Hi! I joined MySpace in 2005 just so I could see the exclusive videos/profile of The Carver from Nip/Tuck. After Season 3 was over, I totally forgot about this site. Then, someone found my profile here, talked me into spiffying up my page, and lo and behold, now I see why MS is so popular! I've reconnected with a bunch of old friends who also hang out here, and I've met some really awesome people here as well. Yep, my page is busy, cheerful, and bright, but hey - life's hard enough, so I rather like having a place in Cyberia where I can celebrate my inner child. *smirk* Overtly immature I am not, but nor am I melancholic or dramatically serious, unless a particular moment in life warrants such. Don't get me wrong; I can be as cerebral as the next person and discuss whatever, such as the differences between a pingueculum and a pterygium, but I'd rather save that kind of talk for later and enjoy the now. Music is everything to me, and I am blown away by prolific song lyrics and beautiful singing voices. One of my biggest wishes is that I could sing, really sing. I'm not much of a Bulletin poster, so don't be offended when I don't repost every quiz I see. I'm not a Friend collector, so if you're a writer/band/musician just wanting to up your Friend number, please don't request an add from me. That being said, here's the bio-sounding stuff: I'm currently living in the Nevada desert, and I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. I stayed there till my late 20s, and I miss living in the South terribly. I adore my family and my friends, and I'm known for my 7th grade sense of humor. :) My son is the center of my universe, and thankfully thus far I am surviving being the mom of a teenager, haha! I am a writer, and I very much enjoy hanging out with the people that live in my imagination. I'm thankful that I have an offer from a very sweet and patient literary agent, and maybe one day I'll pursue publication, but I am in no hurry. Books are hugely important to me, and I'm constantly reading at least 6 books simultaneously. I collect a vast array of stuffed animals, and I have a killer collection of Living Dead dolls. Things I Love, in no particular order: Dolls, my friends and people who get my private jokes, books, the moon, birds, faeries, Beanie Babies, Starbucks, music, The Wizard of Oz, monkeys, giraffes, owls, Boston Terriers (especially Zoey), teddy bears, hearts, photography, the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio, black tea, being left-handed, dimples, crosses, wearing glasses, tenor voices, tousled hair, lilies and gerbera daisies, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, Aquaman and Batman, Disneyland, mermaids, the South, ladybugs, the beach, tattoos, pretty eyes, having synesthesia, vampires, Coach purses, angels, England, texting, Heterochromia, tie-dye, cherry flavored candy, Pellegrino, Mortal Kombat (Baraka is my guy), the roller coaster @ California Adventures, Greek yogurt, scented lotions, OPI nail polish, the Memphis Zoo, cats, India, ballet, organic food, strawberries dipped in Nutella, anything pertaining to the 80s, trees, the colors pink and purple, Catholic churches, laughing till it hurts. Things I Don't Love: Cod fish, When people add water to empty liquid soap bottles, having my picture made (yes, I said MADE), disruptions in my routines, too many choices, fast repetitive noises, water spots, mushrooms, white chocolate, liars, being too hot or too cold, taking cholesterol medicine, nightmares, movie theaters, drinking alcohol, gum with sugar in it, being patronized, pretentious, condescending, and toxic people, pitch black darkness, summertime, driving in the rain, intense smells, headaches, Las Vegas, my hair on a bad hair day, cancer, Alzheimer's, feeling panicked, being startled.
