Hey there everybody. Welcome to my space! Im Raquelle Gracie, a singer, songwriter and pianist! Im currently on a tv show called the X-FACTOR, as one fifth of girlband **HOPE** We perform every saturday night on ITV to stay in the competition to win a recording contract with SONY BMG! We are having the time of our lives!!!
To give you a little background on myself, i've been performing all my life beginning with baby modelling, followed by tv presenting (on Disney Channel), appearances in musicals (South Pacific, Rent) and then CITV show "Gypsy Girl". I had always loved music and had been singing all my life and playing piano from the age of eight. I began writing music around that age, and as I got older, my music developed and I went through more life experiences which all really contributed to my writing and love of music. Writing and singing has always been my escape for when Im feeling down, depressed, happy or sad. Music is how I express myself! I then was lucky enough to train at the prestigious Italia Conti from the age of 16-18.
When I left Conti I knew I wanted to perform, be it singing, acting or dancing! But I decided to persue acting and a music career. After gigging for two years around London, singing my own songs, I decided to give THE X-FACTOR a go! I never imagined being in the live finals and even better, sharing this experience with four amazing girls! Although we didn't originally enter as a band, these girls have become my best friends, and its a pleasure to go on stage with them every week!!
So....................thats me. I have still left my tunes up there, so have a listen and I would love your feedback and opinion! PS. VOTE FOR HOPE!!!! ;-)
