Hailing from London, Ontario Canada; Ellemusic started writing and performing her own songs at eight years old. Spawned from a local DJ and infused with a varied catalogue from his enormous record collection, Ellemusic draws her early influences from everything such as Kate Bush to Depeche Mode to Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Realizing an unmistakable talent and drive to perform, the band "Pacific Rim" was formed and began to hone their musical abilities. The lineup was rock solid, and the sound needed to go national. Taking the new name "Igneous", and hiring US management, this county girl and her band were about to take their first steps into a larger world. After 5 grueling years of touring with top selling artists, playing for 1000s of fans, and numerous television appearances. This impressive young group of talent started turning the heads of major labels as they began having accolades and articles heaped upon them: the members of Igneous decided to follow their individual goals. Such as the lessons and setbacks of the politics of the music industry. Surprisingly, Elle and her music were only strengthened by this setback.
Elle knew that she had not touched the world with her sound yet, and reforging an alliance with her guitarist, she struck out to do what she loves; to sing and play her music. Soon after, "Glowpool" was formed and this impressive acoustic duet immediately released an EP called 5 Reasons Not to Fall in Love which was met with critical acclaim. As it was a self produced acoustic album, Canada added Glowpool and the EP release to The Official Music Archive Collection of Canada. A tremendous professional shot in the arm for the duo, solidifying their unique talents the success of this release added even more shows and more exposure to their young careers.
Now 22 years old and armed with a lifetime of talent and industry experience, Ellemusic is just beginning her career in music again. Ready to play, excited to learn, and ambitious to succeed, Ellemusic has an extensive toolbox of songs and talent and is now playing shows with her fresh face and mesmerizing acoustic/ipod set.
