Okay, so I was trying to go to sleep the other night and sometimes I'll trying to think of things to write in my head, because it helps me relax and I came up with this:
The Top Eight Rules For Life:
1. Crank up the volume. 2. Burn before you can be Burned. 3. Never second guess an Impulse. 4. Shattered souls are like broken Glass, they're impossible to put back together. 5. No two people are Identical. 6. We're all paying by His Tricks. 7. Prepare for the Fallout. 8. Life will never be Perfect.
I know it's not really that big of a deal. Lol. But you're inspiring and I like it. =)
From Mylifeisaverage.com "Today, bestselling author Ellen Hopkins came to my school. Instead of talking about her books, she spent most of the time explaining why she hates Twilight. I have found my hero. MLIA" Really?
:) Hi there. I'm writing a paper for my Senior Exit Project. Its a research paper and I'm researching abused, neglected and traumatized children and how they grow up dealing with all that they've been through. I'm also including the many physical and psychological difficulties it can cause and how we can help to "correct" them later in life to help them. To get to the point, I was wondering what sources you used for Impulse to get all of your psychological information (or any of your books might work really, like Identical is a good one.). If you used websites or books you found especially helpful I'd really appreciate it :D Thanks so much in advance!
You're amazing<3 =D im currently reading tricks and i absoulutly love it! I really enjoy all of your books Do you know of any other authors that have a similar writing style, and themes as you do? i absolutly love your style of writing =D
Oh ok totally cool. I was going to see if you ever needed any design work done it would be something i would be very interested in doing I would love to get my name out more through different styles.

btw. I havnt read tricks yet but am planning on it. I just finished Identical.
Just wanted to stop by and show your page some love. I've read all of your books and I just want to say well done. They are so moving and touching in their own unique way. I myself am an inspiring writer and hope to be as great as you. I personally believe your books should be made into movies. Any tips for a future writer?
Hey Ellen. I just wanted you tell you, you are amazing! You're my favorite author by far. I love the stories you write. Most of them make me cry at the end. Crank and Glass are my favorite books ever. I can't wait for Fallout to come out. You're the best author! -Taylor
PS My older sister bought me a signed copy of Impluse. I'm so excited to get it :D
Hey Ellen, I just recently finshed reading "Tricks" that book is I have to say, one of you best yet! It really caught my attention, it was hard to even put the book down! There also a page in the book that reminds me of my life exactly; page 68 A poem by Cody Bennett "Not Damn Sure Where my real daddy ran to, if he settled down in some Podunk town or if he fell flat off the face of the earth. No clue who he is or why Mom slept with him seventeen years ago, give or take. Maybe it was rape. No Lie. Mom is pretty much a prude. A nice prude. and all things considered, a really great mom. No compliants about her or how we live. Yeah, I got a stepdad, but he's pretty damn good to us. No reason to turn all emo over not knowing my real-scratch that-I mean biological father. Why would I want to? No worries."
It's the same as my life. I really enjoy reading your books! I look foward to reading another intense book from you! :) -Erica
