Interests
General
I keep fit with Yoga, bellydancing, running, meditation and long walks on the beach if my kids keep up with me... I love to write fiction and in my journal....everyday i would love to learn a new fact or something interesting...these are the activities that move me..Interests:Meeting new friends male and female....i am a friend for life and very loyal to people who i find facinating and fun to be with but most importantly i love to laugh....a laugh a day keeps the blues away....ha ha ha... my other interests are a mile long from astrology to going to the zoo....but since my boys are hard of hearing and attend a deaf school The Learning Center for Deaf Kids....they need to know american sign language ASL....so I am a fan of deaf culture......very inspiring and rich with knowledge and spunk....Favorite Music:Well this will be a wide range mix of all kinds of music....but as of late...here Favorite Quotations:Live and let Live, Merry meet Merry, SMILE, .....and most importantly......i have recently recited a shakespear sonnet....#29......which really moved me.... but here are some angelic quotes as i am into angels...it will be appropriate to list them: "Allah sends forth the angels as his messengers, with two, three, or four pairs of wings." -The Koran "The word Angel comes from the Greek "angelos" meaning "messenger". Favorite Books:I LOVE TO READ....Fiction, Biography, Non Fiction....so to list all the great books I read....the list would go on and on. Not only that I have started up a book club with a few of my friends and its been going since September 2006......The very first books was My Sisters Keeper...Jodie Picoult...., my favorites from the book club are....A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Memory Keepers Daughter, The Glass Castle, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, The Alcamist, Eat, Pray and Love, Dantes Inferno, Romeo and Juliet, .....Favorite Plays.....Everyman, A Midsummers Night Dream, Lystestrata, Medea, ...many many more as i am a playwrite as well as recently finished a drama class by a dynamite teacher.....who i learned so much about plays........more to add to the list to come...Heroes
My numbrer one heros are: Mom, Dad, my children, Joe - my husband, best friends: Laurie, Terri, Beth, Sue, Kim, Gail and all my friends... Almost all of my college professors, especially Steve Dooner - the best Literature, creative writing and drama class teacher ever!!!, people who make the world a better place: Dalei Lama, Mother Teresa, the peace makers and Oprah, Lisa Williams, my angels from the other side my beloved sister Kathy and brother Howard who died at a young age....I miss them so much but are my heros for life!!!! Heros who made me who i am today: Shakespeare, Beethoven, Mozart, Dante Alegorie, Jon Swift, John Milton, and fictional heros like Lystestrata and Antigue. Many more that i cant think of right at the moment....
