Who I'd like to meet: Elle Travis is an American actress and award winning Film director. Travis made her biggest breakthrough when she directed and starred in her award winning film Broken which premiered as one of the opening films at the Telluride Film Festival. It took her all over the world including, The Hong Kong International Film Festival and the India International Film Festival of India, garnering her recognition as an auteur internationally. Her next two big breaks came simultaneously when she was offered to direct and act in the sci-fi action film, First Watch and when a scene from her Lifetime project Never Give Up aired on the The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah said Travis was “compelling” as the actress portraying the true-life story of a woman who was kidnapped then fought to successfully escape her oppressors.
Travis’ most recent release was the feature film, Spin playing opposite Latin heartthrob Shalim Ortiz. You will soon be able to see Travis as the gutsy dame in the web series, The Tipping Point and as Natalie Feinnes in the anticipated horror film, Dead Air.
