Hi im sophie i've setup this site for newly signed band Elliot Minor formerly known as The Academy to get them the recognition they deserve!!!!

Alex and Ed started off as an acousitc duo in 2002 playing in various bands in Uppingham School before Elliot Minor was formed. For their last year at school they wrote and recorded songs. Dan having played in numerous band in Pocklington school near York joined Elliot Minor in 2005, since then the band have worked on developing their own unique sound and style. Elliot Minor have been influenced by artists such as The Ataris, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, Green Day, Blink 182, The Starting Line and Taking Back Sunday and have developed their own commercial pop/rock sound through song writing and recording. More recently Ed Hetherton (Dans brother) and Ali Paul have joined the band. They currently have 26 songs written and recorded and are eager to write and record more all the time.

So Please tell all your friends about elliot minor an amazing band with great songs and get us as many adds as possible.
