About me: Jeff and I have started Year 2 in Aizuwakamatsu. As you can tell from my blog if you have had a chance to read any of it, I am in love with Japan. The people are friendly, the land is lush and full of flowers, and I have learned that I love snow. Living in Texas my entire life, I never had a chance to experience snow. I look forward to the winters here when I can pull out my kerosene heaters and start them up. There is a smell to the burning kerosene that you learn to love.
But I do miss my kids. Megan (21)is in Georgia with her husband Zac. Scott (23) is in Oklahoma planning to graduate next spring and get married to Lindsay in the summer.
I spend my time in my jewelry studio. I have attended several festivals where I sell my things. I plan to start selling on Etsy soon. I have a photo album of a few of my pieces under pics.
Yes it is can you believe it? We send him off to UCO the first of August.. I can not believe it!! It is gonna be a different world without him around all the time! how are you guys?

The necklaces I commented on are awesome. I would wear those. I like a lot of hippyish, earthy necklaces. I also like long chain necklaces with random stuff on it, like maybe a leaf charm or something on the end. Just random, cool stuff that is unique. I really really like long necklaces. Don't like to spend a lot though. Maybe 10 or 15 bucks max. That goes for most people my age unless they have a bunch of money. love you. Getting the car finished up getting fixed tomorrow.
Yup, flying. I started in April after i found out that i was put on the waiting list to med school. Right now i'm flying little cessna 152's , i have 35 hours and 90 landings, did my first solo saturday and got another week full of flying if weather permits, but i'm about 3 weeks from my private pilot test. After this i have Instrument training, then commercial and then multi-engine training, and i'll probably get my flight instructor certificates too, still undecided on that!
well actually i'm still flying, we get two weeks off starting next saturday so i'm goin back to work up the fields, but after that it's back to more flying, trying to get done by december if the weather lets me. Have you been fishing there yet?

Your hair looks really pretty in megan's new pictures. It has gotten really long! I am getting mine done today. Saturday's going to be here before we know it! What's the intenary (sp?) look like? I can't wait!
