D.Ellus writes and performs his original Trop Rock & Blue-Eyed Soul music.
D.Ellus (aka Ilya Dinov) writes and performs his original music, in the style of Trop Rock.
D's interest in professional singing date to the early 1980s when he attended the Johnny Young Talent School (1983 – 85). There he had his first singing and performing training, as well as public concert performance.
In the early 1990s he formed two bands, one member of which included a member who went on to European fame, as founding member of B-2. Ilya was lead singer, guitarist and song writer in both bands.
From the middle of the 1990s D.Ellus has always been involved in one form of entertainment or another, for example Radio DJíng on community radio, and performing at local Eisteddfods. More recently he has been performing his original songs at functions, Country clubs, pubs, open mic nights, and special charity events.
He has produced his 1st EP and is set to record an album in 2009.
