My mp3's go from Outkast to Queen, to Beatles to Ella and Jamie Cullum, Michael Buble back to Something Corporate and Bare Naked Ladies, The Decemberists, We Are Scientists, and whatever else Nikks tells me to listen to. Of course I have to have my generous sprinkling of Italain and French arias and sugar coated Asian pop music (Jay Chou, JJLin, S.H.E, Wang Lee Hom, Utada Hikaru, BOA) . | | Movies | Favorites include: Froest Gump, Say Anything, Ever After, Breakfast Club, Benny and Joon, When Harry Met Sally, Hero, and anything by Tray Parker and Mat Stone..... and several others in many languages. | | Television | I have to admit....I do watch Sex and the City, but I also LOVE Family Guy and the Daily Show....and the History Chanel | | Books | "Of Mice and Men" is my favorite book. Other than that my shelf is lined with history books and cultural studies and the occasional novel. At the moment I am catching up on my fiction. Currently reading Edith Pearlman, Dai SiJie, Chuck Palahniuk and Miri Yu. | | Heroes | My mother for sure. There isn't enough time in the world to describe just how strong, intelligent and caring a woman she is. About me:
toothpastefordinner.comHey guys I'm a 24 year old New Yorker living, working and studying in Beijing, China.I'm a huge nerd who one day dreams of being a nerd with a PhD. So, I beg you...don't ask me a question in a museum that you don't want a 20 minute lecture about later on. Very open-minded with a lot of interests such as theater, reading, religion, philosophy, manga, circus peanuts and piano bars.
My family and friends are big, loud and the most important thing in my life. I also LOVE to travel. So far I have been to Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Italy, Japan and all over China. Languages include un poco Italiano and conversational Mandarin Chinese.
