Musica
I LOVE MUSIC! It exhilarates me! It's always ON! Lately what makes me smile are the mellow jams of DMB!
Dave Matthews Band ~ American Baby DMB video from PCPlanets website.
Dave rocks my MP3 Player these days!
They are a modern day jam band and following them brings back fond memories of following the Grateful Dead when ever and where ever they played.
In addition to Dave, I have a very full MP3 player. People are surprised when they see my list of tunes. I listen to heavy metal, classic rock, alternative, hard-core rap, hip-hop, and new age. I still love Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Ozzy, Journey, Eminem, Rage Against the Machine, blink 182, Guns ‘n Roses, Green Day, Velvet Revolver, Bone Thugs, Coldplay, Xzibit, Nirvana, U2, Grateful Dead, Shakira, Prodigy, NIN, Bob Marley, and everything in between! I am totally digging Girl Talk's new release ~ Feed The Animals! Check out his myspace page.
Film
I love old black and white movies, Ingmar Bergman films, and romance movies. Did anyone notice the sign on the door that read "This Is Not An Exit" before my favorite movie ended?American Psycho is what I watch over and over. Adapted from Bret Easton Ellis' novel, it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in 2000, and featured Christian Bale as yuppie serial killer Patrick Bateman. This is at the top of my favorite movie list!
Reservoir Dogs, Memento, and Pulp Fiction, and Excalibur (1981)(John Boorman) are also some of my favorite films. Airplane is the funniest movie ever made, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a hoot, and Koyaanisqatsi is the most brilliant movie I have ever seen in my life!
I watch audience reactions and prefer the movie house to home any day to see a movie!
Televisione
I have to confess I am a television-a-holic! I watch Young and the Restless, Nip Tuck, Lost, Prison Break, Rescue Me, and Grey's Anatomy.... and in my free time, I spend a lot of time lost in the fabulous truth-based world of reality television.
Thank you, Big Brother, Project Runway, Top Chef, the Bachelor, MTV, Survivor, Amazing Race, Criss Angel, Inked, and Dr. 90210 for making my year so exciting!
Libri
I'm just not reading a lot of books these days, other than Star, Enquirer, People and US Magazine! I read Million Little Pieces by James Frey recently, and a few romance novels this year. I actually have some of my travel stories published in two different travel books, though!

Chi sono: .....a vibrant, energetic, and celestial former hippie who grew up in the turbulent, tie-dyed rainbow-coloured era of the 60's.
I remember my first Grateful Dead show in '68, having a lava lamp, wearing Landlubber bell-bottomed jeans, drawing smiley faces, buying my first red VW Bug, hitch-hiking to San Francisco, heading for Woodstock and ending up in Ann Arbor, wearing flags, burning bras, Haight-Ashbury, the Fillmore, wearing patchouli oil, doing magic mushrooms, orange sunshine, and window pane, discovering the Beatles White Album, wearing flowers in my hair, hanging posters on every wall, working in head shops, digging Timothy Leary and Ken Kesey, going on war protests, marching for peace, hanging out in the Loop, spending a summer in New Mexico, wearing puka shell necklaces, hiding a big ole' bong, following the Dead, seeing Blind Faith and Janis Joplin live, listening to the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin, painting peace signs on my walls, buying a red, white, and blue VW van with a peace sign in front for 200 bucks, wearing tie dyed shirts, buying Zig-Zags, and wearing love beads.
Wistfully I still think about those days.
I faced the 70's truly enlightened, embraced the 80's full on; and lived grounded in the nineties........
I have come full circle in life ~ soaring through cyberspace while spiraling through this new millennium....."
