About me: yo, i'm ellen.
i like to hang out with my various loved ones and frolic with my doggies.
am majoring in aboriginal studies at uni and plan on becoming a social worker or community nurse, something of that nature. feel at home in the social/humanities based study fields, want to help people and feel that is definitely what am meant to be doing with life. assignments can occasionally turn something am passionate about into a chore but, is all good :P
have an auto-immune disease called SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) which can be annoying but try not to let it interfere with life too much. fortunately have a very loving and supportive family who make it all so much easier!! (bless my mother!)
i like to enjoy life, and that is my personal aim, to be happy. laughter is important to me, as are snuggles.
i'm a little over-sensitive perhaps, that or just not hardened to the cruelties of this world, so sometimes i have to remove myself from being reminded about the awful things that happen. i want to help make this world better for people, and sometimes terrible things are just so insidious and hegemonic that it feels hopeless, i try to harness these emotions into productive activities rather than just feeling disillusioned, and lest we forget that hope springs eternal ;)
i subscribe to the school of thought that too much of a good thing can be fabulous (thankyou ms west!)
have found myself two gorgeous little nieces (despite lack of actual blood relation) named tamia and chantelle, who are 3 and 2 respectively. they are cool people and i love them dearly :) a special shout-out to their mother, who is also pretty darn awesome ;)
that's about it really. i'm pretty cool.

i am wearing those pants that were all the rage in the 90s, the ones that have the elastic under the foot! Completely HOT! I have the white zink all ready 4 the night. I've even got some coloured hair on bobby pins to add to get that real vince feel. Can't wait!! I also got tim a chest hair wig... seein as he is lacking and as fossel he will need it!
