About me:
I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. Except the tone deaf people, they'd have to be taught interpretive dance instead. Unless said tone deaf people are uncoordinated, in which case I'd have to teach them performance poetry, so I can feel their pain. Unless, those people aren't good at performance poetry, in which case, I'm out of ideas entirely.
While I would like to teach the world to sing, however, I would not want to buy the world a Coke. First of all, I feel that people (including me) drink too much soda to begin with, and also as Steve Jobs once pointed out when did sugar water ever revolutionize anything? Instead, if I had the money, I'd like to buy the world lots of coffee, tea and chai so we can constructively talk about the world's problems, the issues associated with being human and learn how to understand each other better.
As for the logistics of my life. Belle Mead between Princeton and Hillsborough. I currently live with my parents, but plan to move out sometime by the end of 2005. I'm currently between jobs. I'm a do-gooder dork, and a sucker for things that involve volunteerism and civic duty. I'm in love with the concept of love and tend to be drawn to ideas that look great on paper yet can never work out in real life. I love the arts and pop culture. Politically, I'm left of center, what you'd call a bleeding heart liberal, but I can poke fun at it at times. I used to be a big activist and go to protests, but I'm out of the local activism loop here and have to get back into it.
You can learn more about me by reading my livejournal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/ellocina . If you like what you see, send an AOL instant message to my screenname elocinia.

Who I'd like to meet:
Your poor, your tired, your hungry. Your huddled masses yearning to break free. Wait a minute, that's not me that's the statue of liberty! Let's try this again... People who like pina colatas and getting caught in the rain? That's not me either, that's Jimmy Buffet. Ok, third times a charm... Coffee shop philosophers. Articulate drunks, sobers and semi-sobers. People who know the meaning of life (extra points if it's something beyond 42). People who actually read books beyond those that involve helping yourself, or anything that isn't merely People, the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal.
