Festival season ! El Rodeo are hitting the hayfever tablets and travelling to a festival near you over the next couple of months.
We are now a 2 bloke / 2 bird band - there's been a few changes in the El Campo recently, we found Rachel (ex Alex Winter Band) in NME who brings with her a cracking set of lungs and Sue is a Hampshire lass with an interesting collection of thigh high boots.
We're showcasing new material at the festies, have over a dozen brand 'newies' (raided from our past) which are getting polished up, out with the old ! Aiming to get our album out by the end of the year coz we fancy competing with Robbie for Xmas No.1.

APRIL
Had a great gig last night at the Railway Inn - Winchester.
El Rodeo were filmed by producers for Channel 5 who came all the way to see us and thought we were 'brilliant' - they were very nice too. Not sure when we get to see what they recorded but they want to do some more with us so we'll keep you posted.
We are confirmed as playing each night at the forthcoming BASINGSTOCK FESTIVAL - 7 venues / 7 nights. We have a warmup show at the end of May at The Bang Bar in Basingstoke. Laying off the gigs until then as we have over 20 new tunes to finish up before summer comes.
Our debut single has just been released in some fine places. Check our website out at http://www.elrodeo.co.uk to download it for free.
The acclaimed indie 'You Riot' fanzine has just called us 'the band England have been looking for'. The Basingstoke Gazette reckon we are a 'classic UK band'. XFM recently squeezed us on to their playlist (once) and said our stuff was 'undeniably catchy'.
