Elrod Geare sings songs with attitude- songs that make you want to tap your feet. Elrod IS an Attitude. The mysterious alter ego of a mild-manner Cuban-American songwriter, whose work is heavily influenced by among others Cuban Guajiras, The Beatles and melodic love songs of the 60's and 70's. Every now and then something snaps and out comes Elrod.
Elrod's first album is called 'One Dark Dude' and it's available on Lord Tiger Records. Elrod Geare is working on a new album 'One Love, One World, One People'. The song One Love One World is be the first cut in the album.
Most of us want to be liked. We would like other people to
think
of us as nice,
friendly, kind and loving. Most of us want the approval of others.
Some of us have been trying to get approval, trying to get
people to like us and think highly of us since childhood. We may be afraid that
people will abandon us if they disapprove of our actions. We may look for approval
from people who have none to give us. We may not know that we are loveable now
and can learn to approve of ourselves.
In order to live happily, and in harmony with the universe,
we need to let go of our extreme need for approval .These unmet needs for
approval from our past give others control over us today.
We can approve of ourselves. In the end, that is the only
approval that counts!

Replace it with the approval of yourself. Enjoy the surprise you find when you
do this. The people who count, including yourself, will love and respect you
