Bio
Born into a musical family, Elsieanne Caplette grew up in Peru. She studied classical music under a mentor who advocated the exploration and integration of many different traditions and genres. At the age of 15 she recorded her first demo with original songs and has performed with several bands in Peru in which she describes as "being the real school of improve and learning to experiment and free the voice" in the fall of 1999 she moved to Montreal where she met Stephane Sotto (drummer and co founder of ELSIANE), ever since then she started a new musical journey experimenting and creating original musical landscapes. elsieanne has also done some side projects and has collaborated with several artists such as Delerium, Bookashade, Dredg and others.....
