DMB, Ben Harper, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, Emerson Rose, Radiohead, Coldplay, U2, Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, Tom Petty, Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, Soundgarden, Gov't Mule, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Black Crowes, The Who, Bob Marley... the list is almost endless. Also like Miles Davis and Coltrane quite a bit. Old jazz is pretty awesome on a lazy winter day.

Action/ Adventure (or geek movies)- Lord Of The Rings is my all time favorite film (cause it's really one big movie), Star Wars (even the new ones the critics hate), Batman and Batman Begins(the first Michael Keaton film and the newest one with Christian Bale), Indiana Jones (any of them)///

Books
I don't often read novels but if I get into something I'll usually get through it rather quickly. My favorites so far are Hell House by Richard Matheson, Where Is Joe Merchant by Jimmy Buffett, and I love Sherlock Holmes novels and short stories. Also, I really liked Shakespeare in college.

About me: I grew up in Greenwood, IN. Went to the same high school as my grandmother and dad. Taught martial arts as my high school job. Went to Herron School of Art for Graphic Design. Changed major to education for all the wrong reasons (girl). Didn't like that either. Finished with a general studies degree with a focus on Graphic Design. Just went back to school to study Graphic Design again. The moral of the story... don't change your life plans for a girl.
In October, 2007, I married the love of my life, Amanda, who I didn't have to change my personality or goals to be with. She is a wonderful cook, and thus was an easy match for me. We have three dogs, which is a daily challenge. I have been writing and performing music now for several years. Played in a couple of rock bands in Indy. Currently I'm playing solo acoustic shows under the name of Jonny Mars (a play on my middle name for those who don't know).
