Born in a musical household in Syracuse, New York, Yvonne attributes her musical influence to a variety of genres. Her influences include musical styles that vary from classical music, jazz, blue grass and pop to musicians like Pink, Pepper Mache, Tina Turner and Earth, Wind and Fire. From small town U.S.A, Yvonne moved to the Big Apple to study art at the Fashion Institute of Technology and paid her way through school as a model and make-up artist. In the early years of her musical career, Yvonne emerged in the music scene with her own rock-n-roll band that booked regular gigs at New York landmark venues, Tramps, CBCG's and Donhill's. Yvonne's musical style evolved into a new direction that would soon spark international success.

Yvonne's hits have crossed over from the underground music scene with radio versions for every mix. Her hit maxi singles "Set Me Free” and “Silent War” topped the music charts in over 16 major cities nationally. The single went into high rotation in the hottest clubs and most popular radio stations catching the attention of the scene’s best DJs. Now “Silent war International” debut has been played on over 100 radio mix shows across Europe, South America, and Asia.

Silent War - international” was remixed and featured on the set lists of the one of Paris One FM Top mix show DJ Seb SLML; Strong Island radio personality, DJ Johnny C; Chicago’s DJ Awesome; and resident DJ Eckoh at Club Light in New York City, just to name a few. Yvonne has worked with the music industry's most innovative professionals. She has collaborated with Trey Max, Lewis Martinee, Buster Newman and most recently Mark Walker. A seasoned vocalist and entertainer, Yvonne has performed in New York's trendiest hot spots including clubs: Splash, Ohm, Ice Palace, Saci and more.

In 2004, supermodels strut down the catwalk to "Set Me Free" when the track played as the back drop to Michael Kors' fashion show in NYC. In 2005, Yvonne made her Miami live performance debut at club Shine during opening night of The White Party week- the world’s largest and oldest fundraiser benefiting the Care Resource. Miamians who attended the Miami Dade Gay and Lesbian Film Festival received her hit CD, featured as a hot item in the festival's gift bags. In 2007, Yvonne was asked to be a part of the Society of Singers, a world wide organization that supports vocalist through fundraisers and charity events

With over 10,000 maxi singles sold in New York's underground and over 100 radio stations playing trax from “Silent war – International” with a loyal fan base world-wide, Yvonne has been considered an underground phenomenon
