HELP US RAISE $20,000 in 90 DAYS
JUST $5 WILL FULFILL OUR DREAM
Kickstarter.com is a innovative website that allows artists to raise money with pledges securely through Amazon.com. While it's amazingly hard to get industry attention as an independent artist, we've been extremely fortunate to have some amazing industry veterans guidance through this process. We want to see that our album gets the promotion its needs, including radio and a national tour. With your help we can make this a reality.

Debut Album Coming Fall 2009
Mixed by: Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day)
"Elyse is a one woman army who does more for her career in an hour than a major label would do for her in a week. Elyse is an intelligent writer, an amazing live performer and we are very focused on making her mark in this industry." - Jennifer Lyneis, President of Ue3 Promotions
"If meaningful, brilliant pop tunes are your thing, Elyse Haren crafts rockin’ pop songs the way they should be done—with feeling! Armed with her distinctive vocals and unique knack for melody, she lets her passionate, musical spirit shine through in every single verse. “Break My Heart Slowly!” is an amazing gem of a track!" - Myxer.com
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Just for once I finally found what I've been looking for... a band that plays punk, rock but it has meaning in the lyrics and not some cruddy screamo band." - Justin C. (16 year old fan from Louisiana)
Nine months after their first show, Los Angeles based rock band, Elyse and the Aftermath, was already sharing the stage with Terri Nunn and Berlin.
Three months later, the band traveled to Austin, playing 5 shows in 3 days at the acclaimed SXSW '09 Music Festival, featuring keyboardist, Stefano Intelisano (Patty Griffin,) and the rhythm section of Porcelain (Universal Records).
Upon returning to LA, the band took part in an interactive, fan-driven music campaign, sponsored by Wonka Candy, where fans downloaded two songs from their upcoming self-titled release, The Aftermath, over 26,000 times.
They've headlined local festivals including the Myspace Records stage at the Newport Beach Film Festival and just finished recording with Dave Schulz (Goo Goo Dolls, Berlin) adding piano, synth, strings, etc... for the upcoming release.
They are currently partnering with Kickstarter.com, fans, friends and family in an interactive fundraiser to promote, The Aftermath, and plan a national tour. Pledge as little as $5 and receive an exclusive early download before it hits stores.
Coming this Winter (2010), The Aftermath, mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day), and mastering by Paul Grundman, whose father Bernie has mastered countless albums, most famously Michael Jackson's, Thriller.
The album will be available at all online retail outlets (iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon etc...) available physically through Best Buy Stores and on tour this Winter.
