About me:

'Elysium' is an artist, volunteer run space situated in the heart of Swansea, committed to exhibiting and promoting the work of emerging artists whilst continuing to make links with the national arts scene. As a gallery we strive to provide support for new artists as well as encouraging pride and participation in the visual arts in an environment that promotes experimentation, freedom and appreciation in all creative practices. Elysium Gallery is the artist run initiative that took over the reigns from EXPOSURE(College Street, Swansea), a gallery that for 4 years held 45 exhibitions and events, featuring 259 artists to an overall audience of 11,000. Exposure spearheaded the Welsh Graduate showcase, an annual set of exhibitions devoted to celebrating the quality of artwork pouring out of Wales universities. This culminated in Exposure being publicised by Times newspaper as one of the TOP 5 GALLERIES TO VISIT IN BRITAIN. 'Elysium' is dedicated to building and improving on this success.
