About eMail Our Military
eMail Our Military (eMOM) was created as a response to the DoD's cancellation of the "Any Service Member" and "Operation Dear Abby" mail programs in 2001, with the mission to provide encouragement, motivation and morale support to the men and women serving in our military by sending eMail, correspondence and care packages. Website visitors can join, participation is free, and take part in a number of support projects ranging from sending eMail on a one-on-one basis with a service member to year round support projects.
eMail Our Military's founder is the daughter of a veteran, has many family members who have served or are currently serving and is the wife of a military service member. All eMail Our Military office staff and volunteers contribute their time and are not paid for their assistance.
We really enjoy what we do and we really enjoy supporting our military. We are dedicated to emailing, writing letters, sending notes and all that fun stuff. We're always looking for new ways to make our service members' experiences far from home a little brighter and a little better. It's our small way of making a difference one person at a time.

It is our mission to provide encouragement, motivation, and morale support to our military service members directly and primarily
through eMail.
Our Belief
The great German poet, Goethe, said to his generation: "What you have inherited from your fathers, earn over again for yourselves or it will not be yours." We inherited freedom and because of that there are some who seem unaware that freedom has to be re-made and re-earned in each generation.
What We Do:
eMail Our Military is an organization that provides a safe way for people to continue the tradition of "Any Service Member" mail with a much more personal touch - email!
Through
eMail Our Military you have an opportunity to let America's military know how much you appreciate what they do on our behalf 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Why eMail Our Military?
eMail Our Military is a service organization that exists solely to support our troops. All
service members and civilian supporters must register to participate. Our Code of Ethics and the security measures we have in place help us to support our troops safely. We do not publicize the names and addresses of service members, ships or units on Web sites. Doing so is a potential danger to our troops.
REMEMBER: eMail Our Military is 100% original, 100% volunteer based and owned & operated by a military family. Don't get misdirected by support groups that are not legitimate organizations or charitable entities. Though well intentioned, they do not have security measures in place to ensure our troops will be protected.
We’re volunteers from all walks of life who understand that regardless of our political views, our military service members deserve our respect, support & encouragement.
