Bio
Emanuel and the Fear is a band. They live in New York City and Brooklyn. There used to be 11 of them, but now there are only 6. Emanuel and the Fear have been advised to explain what they sound like. They can't, however, seem to agree on a genre classification since the only thing all 6 of them can agree on is that Marvin Gaye's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at the 1983 NBA all-star game is a brilliant piece of music. If you call them a rock band, nobody will be offended. Emanuel and the Fear have 3 records out which are available for purchase everywhere you can buy music online. The most recent of them is an EP, "Hands", that they recorded and mixed in 4 days mostly live in the studio. They also have physical CDs available for people that are still into that sort of thing. Emanuel and the Fear think you should purchase and listen to their most recent EP "Hands" and that you will like it. Emanuel and the Fear aren't sure you'll believe them so check out what Flavorpill, NME, Village Voice, The Guardian, Paste, Rolling Stone (Germany) and Vice (Germany) have said. Links to their kind words are available at www.emanuelandthefear.com. Emanuel and the Fear are finishing mixing a new full length LP, "The Janus Mirror", which at the moment is set to be released in Europe in the fall of 2012 on Haldern Pop Records. It will probably come out in the US as well. It will be on vinyl as well as CD since the band is into that sort of thing. Emanuel and the Fear will be playing the New York area through the summer and are currently booked for a few festivals this summer and two tours through the fall of 2012 in Europe. The Desasterz FUCK WESTGARTH SOCIAL CLUB MIDDLESBROUGH FESTIVAL!!! If you're thinking of going there, please don't they don't diserve any success and bands don't have to waste they're talent playing there. We asked for a place at their festival in October and they gave us one. We accepted. Then, when the bill was full, "biger bands" came and they where given our place. We where put on the "if a band droppes out" waiting list. All they sayed was "that's the way it is".

Hi, this is Marc from "satellite view" (Hanover, Germany).
I just want to tell you that the album is brilliant and that I'm really looking forward to the gig in Hanover.
Wish you all the best.
See you!
Marc

Really love the song writing! Hope to pick up a show here in New England.
horray thanks for the add Emanuel and The Fear
Yeah sorry, Westgarth are fine. It's the Rock Your Mind Festival who where responsible for what happened. They're even threatening to tell all the promotion in Middlesbrough about our complaints.
Thank you for your attention.
Joseph Lambert, the Desasterz
What's up Emanuel And The Fear? In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. All my thoughts are lost to your graceful gaze? Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles.
Loving Emanuel and The Fear,
Do you have any idea how much we all love you? I wish you great luck Emanuel and The Fear. Love Ya!
