About Embers Fire

Embers Fire formed in late 2005, but it wasn't until 2006 that things really started to get moving for us. Our first gig was at Esquires in Bedford from which we received very positive reviews. In 2007 Harry joined the band as the new lead guitarist.

We have a wide arrange of influences, which is reflected in our songs. We have both a light softer side as well as a heavier rockier sound. The songs uploaded show the variety in our sound, and the unique sound that is Embers Fire.

During 2007, we continued to write new material and played some really good gigs. Our demo was featured on Kerrang Radio's 'Unsigned Show' in April, in which Kerrang listeners voted our demo, 'Crushed By the Weight' as the Winner of the first 'Demo Clinic' competition and so therefore winning recording time.

In 2008 we wrote and recorded 2 new tracks 'All For Nothing' and 'Don't Walk Away', which are some of our strongest material to date. We also had 2 songs feature in a PC game 'Motorm4x', this has been released in a number of countires and is due for release in UK around March 2009 - you can see a clip of the game and "So Unforgiving" below.

Now in 2009 we are looking for management and will shortly be playing a number of gigs around the London/Northants/Bed/MK area in Spring 2009, so watch this space

The passion for the music is clear on frontman Tim’s face. Taking their inspiration from Snow Patrol & Therapy? to name a few, It’s a welcoming blend to the ears. “All or Nothing” is reminiscent of early Bush with outbursts of driving riffs. Closing their set with an impressive Jimmy Somerville cover which injects adrenaline in to the famous Pop track, Embers Fire have left their flag flying in what was a difficult battle.
