....Solo music can feel like tapping into the natural energies or raw currents of the world..... Embertime is a mellow guitar project, distilled and bottled into a digital cellar, for times of quiet, mature drinking ....(something like this)..... I grew up with sci-fi and fantasy movies like Jim Henson's 'The Dark Crystal', so some of the tracks feature samples from the films.....more recently, Ursula le Guin's series of 'Earthsea' books.
Started with simple recordings under the name 'Sonobuoy' at Chester University and its music scene 2000-2.... Outlines have evolved with improved equipment into pieces with some lyrics and song structures.
FELLOWS OF THE MELLOW .... a desktop package of ember sounds for your PC ....Download here ! to transform your bland windows experience!........please check out the CD.... click Here......support is much appreciated.

"The energy of everything flows like the great rivers of the earth, naturally rolling and splashing, slipping and spiraling through the paths of least resistance toward the swelling, dreaming sea. Our life began in the waters of our mother's living womb. Grandmother Moon pulls and releases the ocean tides and the water in our bodies allowing energy and intuition to flow freely through our feelings and our spirits. Water has memory and is alive, responding to our emotions and healing old sorrows, teaching us playfully to release and renew. Water evaporates from the sea and transpires from trees to return as cleansing, life giving rain. All life needs clean water to survive. The spirit and sacredness of water is honored by all people who respect life. Swimming or floating in pools and lakes, streams and rivers our bodies and bright spirits receive the wisdom of water, honoring our emotions, remembering the love and mysteries of our source, embraced in wholeness and serenity."
Ade, above all, I appreciate how comfortably _consistent_ your sound here is. The music has an incredibly strong identity...and, given that today is the first day of Fall, I'm grateful that that identity is so _cozy._

Hey =] I've been trying to leave you a comment for awhile, but for some reason it doesn't go through. Thanks so much for adding me. I love your music. I really like how you combine things. It's so beautiful.
