Shy Carter is emerging as one of contemporary music's most versatile and gifted young songwriters/producers. Best known for co-writing Ashanti's single "Switch," he is a multi-talented producer, writer and artist.
A serious student of music since the age of 10, Shy has been influenced by artists ranging from Curtis Mayfield and Isaac Hayes to Outkast and Ludacris. At 13, he played with his own R&B group in his native Memphis, and he made a name for himself while attending college in Grand Rapids, landing a song called "I Got Soul" in regular rotation on hits/top 40 station WSNX. That led ultimately to indy label success and thus peeking the interest of entertainment manager Courtney Benson who secured a deal with hip hop superstar Nelly's production company Derrty Ent. as one of his main producers. Shy is currently working on projects for Nelly, St. Lunatics and Chingy, and many others.. A strong hook writer and track producer with excellent pop sensibilities, Shy is, at 22, one of the industry's most promising talents.

SCOTT LEGER
Austin, TX
Few artists produce truly life-changing songs. Scott Leger is one of them. As both writer and artist, with his band Wideawake, of "Maybe Tonight, Maybe Tomorrow," he has brought hope and inspiration to cancer survivors and their families around the world, and has raised both money and awareness for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and its LIVESTRONG campaign.
Scott has compiled an impressive list of accomplishments since moving from Seattle to Austin in 2002. His songs have been heard on One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek and The Ring. Wideawake was named Best Rock Band by the Austin Music Foundation in 2003, and Scott was named Best Male Vocalist and Best Songwriter in 2003 and 2004. "Maybe Tonight, Maybe Tomorrow" earned him the grand prize of the 2006 International Songwriting Competition.
As his reputation continues to grow and his music finds a wider home in film and television, Scott remains committed to using his gifts to bring encouragement in the face of the world's challenges. "I want to leave people with a feeling of hope," says the man whose music does just that.
