Well Danon(singer), who has a love for heavy music, and Blake(guitarist), who loves old school metal, started just jamming looking to make a band. Then it was them and Chris(bassist),who enjoys all sorts of music, started playing cover songs such as Tool, Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World, Metallica, and Green Day (who sucks by the way). Then that didn't work out so it was Blake and Danon again just playing around and made a slower based song called Change(which later became heavy). Eventually they went to Taylors(drummer), who loves heavy metal, just to mess around, and kind of just formed a band called Thumplakur, made eight or so songs without a bass player and to make long story short, they asked Chris if he was interested in playing bass and said yes. Then it took a turn a few months later after not having any shows and Chris was asked to play in another band and said yes; so he was out, no hard feelings. Eventually we asked an old friend Devon, who likes heavy/weird music, to play bass, and he said yes. We changed the name of the band to Embrace the New and NOW WE DONT HAVE A BASS PLAYER AGAIN!!! We also love Jesus Christ and are very proud of it, if you have a problem with it, well sorry, but we'll still talk to you. Thats us!!!

Yeah, that bassist you guys have is damn lazy PoS too. He sucks. He should totally move away to like Fort Worth or something. Yeah, just tell him to get the hell out. Lol
I hope you guys did good at that show at One-Eighty. Wish I could have been there. BUT! I'm back now and ready to play. I wanna play! Am I still allowed to be bassist?
