Embracing started out in 1992 under the name Beyond and recorded the first demo in 1993. Mattias (the drummer) worked with Naglfer during 1995 and performed on the "Vittra" album. Directly after the recording in Abyss studios he dropped to focus entirely on Embracing and the second demo "Winterburn" was born. The band played numerous shows and got a deal with Invasion records which then released the debut album "I bear the burden of time" in 1996 and "Dreams left behind" in 1997.
In 1998 the band recorded a promo called "Inside you" but due to lack of interest most members quit the band to focus on other things than music.
Mattias wrote the second promo "Rift" and got in touch with some new guitarplayers and the new era of Embracing was at hand. Since then Embracing has played many shows and just focused on writing songs, and also been involved in other albums. You probably have checked out Azure "King of stars - bearer of dark" album which was released in 1995.
The third album "Neptune" is currently in production and recorded in Morningdew Media studios.
