    Embrio was formed in 2000. by Branimir Vugdelija ( R.I.P.),vocalist and guitarist at that time and also the engine of a band.After a few tweaks in the line-up throughout the time - current lineup would look like this: Petar Radovic; - vocals, Rino Vugdelija - drums, Denis Brkic - bass guitars, Josip Markovic - keyboards, Damir Samardžic - guitars and Nikola Buljan - guitars.The band itself has various influences due to difference of each members music taste but despite all that musical chaos, they've settled with a style beloved by every and each member - gothic rock/metal. The first demo album was recorded in 2002. called "To My Beloved" with an essence of slow gothic music inspired by H.I.M, Type 0 Negative and Black Sabbath.The album itself contained some nice musical pieces which are still being performed nowdays. The next album that came out, also demo, was called "Gabriel's Grief" and it was recorded at the end of 2005. Second album also recived some noticable changes in sound, style and quality.That album launched Embrio to become one of the better known bands in Croatia. Sadly on July 21th 2007. tragedy happened and band had lost their frontman, brother and core of the band as Branimir Vugdelija passed away in a tragic accident leaving a huge scar on Embrio's weak body, which doubtfully will ever heal again... Embrio has participated on alot of gigs and band competitions in Croatia but beyond aswell. Slovenian Metal Camp is more than worth of mentioning. Also the fact that the band got some really good response by the audience and it was one of their better gigs,if not the best so far. Now, in 2010. the band will record a new full length album and will be done soon and hopefully released.
