Embryonic was formed in spring 2006. Influenced by metal bands like Sepultura, Devil Driver and In Flames they had some successful shows.
After a while Tom (guitar) left the band and launched his own band.
In autumn 2007 Daniel (ex Azrael guitar) joined Embryonic and with him and his knowledge from the melodic death sector the band appeared in a new interesting way. Spring 09' Sean (ex Dying Hope Drummer) joined the band and replaced former bass-player Gernot. Finally the band was complete.
After hard work and writing songs Embryonic performed some shows with bands like Sanatorium, Master and Lividity but also austrian metal bands like In Slumber, Distorted Impalement etc.
Now Embryonic is a very intense, melodic and melancholic live- band that kicks your ass with their sometimes high-speed and also slower melodic/ thrash-metal art! So are you prepared for some styrian armageddon?!

October 29th, 2007, Covan (vocalist of DECAPITATED), was seriously injured in an accident which involved their tour bus while traveling to a show in Gomel,Belarus. Sadly this accident claimed the life of Vitek(drummer of DECAPITATED). Covan is still going through a long and difficult recovery and needs our help.
