About me: Emcee Child has been working in the Bay Area since being forcibly imported from the UK by his wife in 2000. His diverse background encompasses many different genres of music from all over England. He got his start emceeing for the City Kids (Hip Hop) in '94 and learned to DJ from the Cornish DJ Nee (Drum and Bass) in '96.
Emcee Child likes to cross all genres in performance, from Hip Hop to Drum and Bass, Garage to Grime, Dubstep to Dancehall.
He has performed with a diverse range of artists such as Blame, Seji & Afronaut (Bugs in the Attic), Vex'd, Benga, Chef & LD, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad, Paradox, Big Bud, The Plastician aka Plasticman, ASC, King Tubby Sound System, Sister Nancy, Distance, Cyrus, Hijack, Kode9, Hatcha, N-Type, Pinch, Joe Nice, Skream, Casper & Rusko, Clever, Juju, Stunna, Breakage, Pipeline, Photek, Silent Witness, Break, Basic Ops, Azeem (Spearhead), Foreign Legion and has been lucky enough to record with the Psychokinetics, Subverse, Kalri$$ian and Hank Shocklee (The Bomb Squad).
