Emcees For P.E.A.C.E. (MC4P) is a worldwide coalition of Hip-Hop, spoken word, poetical, lyrical, and instrumental Artivists. Our mission is to educate, raise awareness, inspire action, promote peace, unite the people, and spread truth, love, light, and consciousness through Hip-Hop, music, culture and the arts to create positive social, evironmental, economical, political, and societal changes, globally.
Our purpose is to bring artists from around the world together for peace, truth, justice, equality, unity, and the freedoms and rights of the people. We want to get these artists working with each other involving their artistries with activism and advocacy, becoming Artivists, and utilizing that to reach out, Edutain, empower, and inspire the people in their communities to stand up, speak out and take action!
These Artivists will work and build as ONE united force/movement to fight, stand against, and stop the negativity, injustice, oppression, tyranny, corruption, war, deceit, inequality, violence, degradation, deprivation of knowledge, poverty, famine, strife, economic disparity, malice, human conflict, the dys-education, narcissism, and all other detrimental diseases being perpetrated, unleashed, and perpetually subjected unto Our people.
Through unity of diverse Ativists who can relate to the people in their communities because of their ability to reach out and engage minds, MC4P hopes to establish an educational, inspirational, and spiritually uplifting organization that will work to preserve the true culture of Hip-Hop, unite the people regardless of their diversities, educate the youth worldwide on truth, respect and acceptance, establish the true positive perception of Hip-Hop while getting people to recognize its universality and realize the changes such a Movement can bring, and to eventually heal the wounds, evolutionize mind states, and start the revolution!

Treat your music profile as a job interview. Select your friends and choose readible comments carefully. Most people already know, never take your homies, cuzzins' or friendz' to a job interview. As much as it might hurt, your myspace music profile is your online interview, so in short, leave em' at home!
Get professional photos'! IMAGE is everything to a promo package. INVEST in SELF! Please, whatever you do, do not attempt to imitate poses you have seen from famous artist, trust me, you look absolutely nothing like what you imagine. Simply allow the photographer to do his/her thing. Afterall, you are paying them to SEE you at your best. ENJOY!
