Most of my time is spent either working or with the kids. Now that we've moved, I will probably have more free time. We shall see what I do with that.
Music
Punk, industrial, and classic rock are the biggies. I also like reggae, jazz, swing, big band, and others. Summed up, just about everything except rap, which I mostly don't even consider music.
Movies
Some of the best movies are the ones you have to read. But you usually don't have to actually read because there's just a bunch of butt kickin going on.
Television
It's overrated. I wish there were a way to buy only 5 or 10 channels. Then I might pay for TV. Otherwise, Eh.
Books
I mostly like classic literature and historical fiction. The Ishmael series really got to me.
I am a mother and an archaeologist. Jobie and my kids are the best things that have ever happened to me. I have no social life these days, but I've got some pretty awesome kids to come home to every night.
I'm lucky enough to have a job that I love. The work is sometimes tedious, but also fascinating and just plain neat. It is also intellectually stimulating, which makes me happy (unless I get a big batch of ceramic residuals or quartz fragments - then not so much).
I value education and using one's brain. I think that snuggling under the blankets on a cold morning is the best thing ever. I like driving with my windows down and my radio up (though if I need it to be really loud, I put the windows up because I hate when people force the whole neighborhood to listen to their music). Singing frogs make me happy, as do warm chocolate chip cookies. I love staring out of my window at the rain. I like cooking with some good music in the background while drinking a nice glass of wine.
i wanna say they have some. i remember looking at the pottery when i was young. i couldn't really say one way or the other that they still had it, but i'll ask.
what if i get you a arrow head could you find out more stuff then? and how would i go about finding the local archaeologist? i know there has to be some more things there. it would be so heavily haunted if it wasn't some kind of sacred site. just about every night you go there you see something (full body non-vaporous, shadow and a good bit of audio one time i heard drums and chanting).
the town it is in is called hazelhurst. its about a two hour drive from here. i think its right outside of jackson. i really don't think work has been done there. they are a real reclusive people. the street they live on is named after them thats how long they've been there. they live in the middle of nowhere. they still live in a dirt road. 600 acres of tress, creeks, ponds and wild life. the hill that the arrow heads are on is really huge, but they found a good bit of then in the woods near the hill. the whole 600 acres they own have a weird vibe to it. its like they still watch over their land. you can feel it mostly in the barn where the suspected burial site is.
yeah. there is this big hill that is a native american burial site. they've found arrow heads, pots and some other things like native american spirits. everyone that goes there sees a spirit. i've seen them several times. next time i go there i'll see if i could bring something back and let you look at it. that picture was just a small sample of arrow heads they have a milk crate of them. i'm sure if they did some digging you'd find bones and stuff, but i don't think they'd let anyone do that. they're real protective of their land. they're hillbillies in every way.
We got some of those Harry Lee magnets too. My mom declared hers "Best Catch of the Day!"
My best catch was the Voodoo Doll my niece caught and had to give to me because my mom and sister declared it bad/dangerous/evil or something, and didn't want her to have it, even though she's 11.
