I like what I like. I'm not the kind of person to say, " I don't like that because it's trendy." That being said, I really don't like much on the radio anymore. I stick mostly to metal and hip hop. I Love In Flames, Galiban, Threat Level(go Frankie!), but I also have a mellow side. I dig Ben Harper Joseph Arthur, Jack Johnson, that kind of stuff. Lately I've been diggin stuff with a little more elecronic stuff in it, especially if it's mixed with hip hop. Stuff like Saul Williams, Lyrics Born, diggin Mickey Avalon right now too. Also gotta throw out some T.V. on the Radio now and again and a little bit of country(But don't tell anyone, I'll just deny it!)
Movies
Where to start! I like Sci-fi-Fantasy stuff, but, oddly, I hate Star Trek. I loved Serenity, Lord of the Rings is still a favorite(the whole trilogy). Donnie Darko is up there too.
I love just about anything with a sword in it, especially bad B-movies like Beastmaster and Steel Dawn. I'm into a lot of Japanese stuff too. Lots of Anime, Berserk, Samurai X, stuff like that. But I like Japanese movies too. Azumi is one of my favorites, and I think the Japanese make great horror movies, all though America has a habit of messing them up(i.e. The Ring, The Grudge-Both originally Japanese movies!). I like stuff with new ideas, and thats rare in Hollywood, even the Departed (also a Japanese movie first, though the Departed was a better version-go Marty!) Usually, if it's different, I like it.South park meets World of Warcraft
Not much to say here-don't watch a lot of t.v. I love Smallville-I own every season. I just started buying Scrubs on dvd, that show is a amazing. I really liked Firefly for the one season it was on. Other than that, I'm an obsessive channel flipper. I'll watch Law and Order SVU if I catch it, the Sopranos, Dexter, Family Guy, whatever I'm in the mood for.
Books
Just read Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk-it was amazing! I'm reading the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter books lately by Laurell K. Hamilton. I can't put them down. I like classic literature too-Chuck Dickens, Will Shakespeare, Bob Louis Stevenson. I also read a lot of stuff by Philip K. Dick and Isaac Asimov.
Heroes
My biggest hero is my father, David Lee Allen. He taught me so many things about being a man by accident, not to mention the things he taught me on purpose. Jaymz "Psycho Kraftor, owner of Eye Candy Tattoo. He is my jedi master, took me under his wing and taught me things that not very many people could, and I will always be grateful for that. I also have to say all of the people in our nation's military-the ones I know and the ones I don't, the ones in Iraq and the ones who aren't. God bless them all.
