    Hailing from Perth, Western Australia through the trial & error of many garage bands, EMERALD CITY is the commercial hard rock band the 21st century have been screaming for. EMERALD CITY deliver an amazing straight ahead rock & roll show with all the antics and mayhem that their predecessors like Guns N' Roses, Kiss and Motley Crüe had enraged audiences with some 25 years earlier. After establishing themselves as one of Perth's hottest live acts, including support slots for none other than platinum selling pub rockers The Screaming Jets, The Angels & The Poor, international rock god's Paul Stanley (KISS) & Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST), original AC/DC frontman Dave Evans, LA Sunset Strip greats Lynch Mob & Faster Pussycat, Electric Mary (VIC), Syndicate (NSW) and multiple opening spot's for all-star Oz rock band Raise The Flag (feat. Mark Evans and Simon Wright of AC/DC plus many more) along with a string of soldout headline shows at most of Perth's premier venues and not long after being sighted by Graig Goldy of DIO as "The best unsigned ready-to-go band I've seen", EMERALD CITY have now independently released their debut 5 track EP "UNLEASHED" to great response. "UNLEASHED" was the result of 4 months intense recording working with producer Eddie Parise former Bass Player and Songwriter of multi aria award winning group The Baby Animals. January 12 2009 also saw "UNLEASHED" distributed nationally through Firestarter Music. With screaming guitar lines and big sing along choruses, the essentials for any great rock and roll band, along with a live show to rival the best which excites, stimulates and moves the audience, EMERALD CITY is as intriguing to watch as they are to listen to. EMERALD CITY is five youthful gifted artists doing what they do best – making timeless music.
