En el año 1994 Fernando García decide regresar al rock, luego de 10 años desde su banda AUTO STOP. En donde acompañó, con su voz y bajo a guitarristas como Tito Marca, Kike Robles, Edgar Casas, Alo Ugarriza , Teddy Manrique y Carlos Kakutani.
Es así que se comunica con Tito Marca para que se integre a su nueva banda, decidiendose tocar música de THIN LIZZY, que les era conocida por haberla tocado en AUTO STOP.
El nombre del grupo, surge en homenaje a una canción de THIN LIZZY llamada "EMERALD".
La etapa del TRIBUTO A THIN LIZZY abarca desde el año 1995 hasta el año 1999, siendo su formación clásica: Fernando García al bajo y voz, Tito Marca y Victor Hugo Glenni guitarras y a la batería Hugo Alcázar, habiendo pasado por la banda bateristas tales como Carlos Mendoza, Oscar Muñoz y Paco Rosas
La etapa de los temas propios abarca desde el año 2000 hasta el año 2002 sin la presencia de Tito Marca, el cual es reemplazado por Miguel Arroyo
Tito Marca regresa con la incorporación del guitarrista Manuel Rodríguez, para el concierto de "LA NOCHE" de Barranco el 17 de Octubre del 2002.
Luego de una CRISIS de 3 años y con el apoyo del guitarrista Victor Hugo Glenni( Que tiene un proyecto personal) EMERALD regresa en Diciembre del 2005 en forma definitiva con el TRIBUTO A THIN LIZZY.
Es asi que durante el año 2006 hasta abril 2007, EMERALD toca el TRIBUTO A THIN LIZZY en diferentes locales de Lima y tiendas musicales como MUSIC MARKET y AUDIONET, con los guitarristas Victor Hugo Gleni, Tito Marca y Manuel Rodriguez en forma alternada. Siempre con el liderazgo de Fernando Garcia en la voz y bajo asi como Hugo Alcazar en la bateria.
El momento esperado llega en Mayo 2007, cuando se hace imperativa la necesidad de grabar el TRIBUTO A THIN LIZZY.Para lo cual se escogió los estudios de MUNDANO RECORDS. Para este hecho que va a marcar la historia de EMERALD hacia su profesionalismo musical en el Perú, Fernando Garcia decide que en este disco deben participar guitarristas invitados y ex-Emeralds. A la vez que por motivos personales de algunos integrantes en cuanto al plan futuro de la banda, se realiza una reforma interna de integrantes con lo cual se integran los guitarristas Américo Yrupailla y Fernando Chang asi como el tecladista Steve Palomino.
El disco Tributo se termina de grabar en Abril del 2008 y luego de la regularizacion de los Derechos de Autor correspondientes, se espera presentarlo el 2 de Octubre en el THE LIONS HEAD PUB de Barranco-Perú.

Antes de Arcana, ya la gente “grunger”, se confundía con Actitud Frenética, Radio Criminal, Circo de Marionetas, Ex o incluso con G-3. Pero Arcana, demuestra darle cabida a la imaginación de manera particular. Pues ellos derrochan en sus letras una metáfora de ambigüedad y de insuficiencia emocional (sobre todo este ultimo), aparte por su sonido reconocible al exprimir hasta la última gota de cada instrumento afinado y bullicioso. Pero bueno, hablo de todo esto pues hay algo mas allá en Arcana como músicos (Mark Kruz, Micky Bane, Dan Limaco), saben que desde que escuché el Trágalo (su disco mas crudo) hasta el Al olvido, había cambiado en parte la manera de ver las cosas. Canciones como “Ulceroso”, “Libidos”, “Dos Embriones” o “Gato con Insomnio”, pudieron ayudarme a encontrar salidas a respuestas que en cierta edad eran difícil de entender, pero más allá hay toda una mística escondida con su prosa a lo Vallejo que habla sobre la vida de manera retrógrada y entendible a aquellos que no gozan de explicación. Pues como dicen en una de sus canciones… “Mira el suelo desde el subsuelo, parece el cielo". (LA LUNA DE PIERROT - Pierrot Lunaire).
