Emergency Services
started off as a name for Adam Gregory [Go And Play] and Tom Speak [Figure Of Wax] to use as a guise whilst playing or throwing partys around North-West UK.
A short while later they were joined by Will Drennan [Electrique] and Jim Down [gingerbrown]. Between them they had secured the first residency at previously-closed late-bar Mood Basement in April '04.
This spearheaded a huge change in the local scene, resulting in countless amounts of independent nights (of all genres, with real DJs) being held at the venue:
Elements, Thirsty Ear, Doom to name a few.
ES soon established itself, not only as a night, but as a design group. Now they were being asked to play sets at other nights - and help with their promotion also.
In recent days, there is a new side of ES working as an up and coming independant label.
With Leeds hip-hop duo "Blessed House" recording their debut album 'The Holy Residents'. ES also has projects with London's Nari, aswell as America's Adrift, Input, Time, Ellis Bancroft and Shin-B.
Currentley each of us are now living in a different part of the UK, covering Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Wiltshire, Sussex and London.
Our aim is to bring our creative skills to many tables, with the Emergency Services name representing how people can come to us for help in all aspects of the scene we all love:
Production
DJ Sets
Graphic Design
Illustration
Animation
Photography
Web Design.
Check here for both our residencies (below) and frequent live dates across the UK.

We're always looking to play in new locations and network as much as possible, so drop us a line if we can help you out in anyway.
To start 2008 we will have opened 'es-online.co.uk' as our online store for production and design commissions, DJ sets and ES Records.
Peace. ES.

that astronomy beat is sick man. Reminds me of like the end of a film where the good guys like walkin off in a real heated shootout. Fukin shud speak to some big time directors. See if they can hook you up.

To my disgust I nearly didnt add you then coz Skadrock looked nekkid on the little pic, I have enough naked body of my own without looking at someone elses clothed naked body. As usual, its one rule for you DJ's and another rule for the rest of us. Come on Tony Blair, when are you going to tighten the laws on this kind of thing?
Where could a gent buy some ES undergarments? Maybe of the crotchless veriety. One has Gala events to attend and such attire would be a spiffing conversation point with the ambassador from Mongolia.
