Emerging From The Cocoon（E.F.T.C.）is formed by L(GT , ex Scarlet) , Seal(Drum & Violin , Hades ) , Chiang(GT , Hades) , S(Bass) , and Harry(Vocal) in Taiwan in September, 2007.
We are a deathcore/death metal band . The influence of black metal bands that some members play before(Hades , Scarlet) makes our music special with evil and dark aura . The tragic sound of Violin and the melody of guitar bring out the sorrow of ours and the listeners . When it comes through , the brutal breakdown and the raw black metal vocal strike hard right in your head. The unique music style makes EFTC one of the most unusual bands in Taiwan metal scene.
EFTC has performed in some music festival in Asia such as Formoz Festival, Spring Scream Festival, Metal Monster Festival, Ultimate Metal Festival 2008 and Asia Metal Festival 2009 (Korea) in recent years.
