Hailing from San Diego, California, Earthless is Mario Rubalcaba (drums), Isaiah Mitchell (guitar), and Mike Eginton (bass). Close friends of Emerica, Earthless plays mostly instrumental, partially structured / improvised, grooved out and loud psychedelic stoner rock with a lot of cosmic nodding. In appreciation of the band, Emerica teamed up with them to design a very special limited-edition shoe, The Nailer Earthless.
Earthless is the perfect soundtrack for skateboarding, and it's no coincidence. Drummer Mario Rubalcaba is a formal professional skateboarder, who not only shreds on the drums but still rips hard on his board to this day! go skateboarding day really sucked this year in philly. there was cops on every corner yelling at kids to get off their boards or they'll be arrested. we couldnt even ride ower boards. i almost got arrested when a cop told me no skateboarding then i rode away and he yelled again. then i went into the street thinking maybe he ment the sidewalk then he stoped his car in front of me and yelled a bunch of times that i was getting on his nerves and asking if i wanted to be arrested. wtf!!! we then went to love park and there was 3 cop cars n 1 cop van ready to arrest like 20 people. we tryed to walk by them to go sit in love park n they told us we couldnt even go in. when i asked y everyone else but us could go in he said because we had skateboards. he said leave them with him and we could go. it was crazy!! we were so pissed. so then we just went to three block n alot of people were there but then we all mygrated to temple. from there me n a few friends took the subway back to city hall then went to the 7elleven. there was about 65 kids outside of it! skating flat ground!!?? this was the only place we werent getting kicked out of it was rediculus. me n my friends then yelled "Lets go to Drexell!!" n everyone followed. it was ok then on. but definatly the worst go skateboarding day ever. oh yeah and kids were getting tackled and tased by cops. it was insane. what has the world come to??
