Books
I like reading for the simple fact that I like books. Books are physical, not like the internet. There's a good feeling involved when you're holding a book.
My favourite writer has been the late Michael Crichton. Recently I'm spanning out a bit more, but I wish I had more time to read.
Lately I've been getting into comics. Right now I'm following The Walking Dead.
However, the book I've really enjoyed and has left most impact on me must surely be John Wyndham's "The Day Of The Triffids". A colossal and amazingly good book.
About me:
I'm a 21 year old guy from Malta who is passionate about music. I play electric guitar (rock/indie/funk/anything else really) and piano (classically trained up to grade 5 with ABRSM). I can mangle something on bass and drums too, but you might want to cover your ears, or call it "experimental". Haha!
I used to play in the short-lived band The Great Escape with Aby on vocals, me on guitars/backing vox/keys, Robert on guitars, Karl on bass and Daniel on drums. We recorded one song which we played on a local show Rockbaze, and placed first in the public voting. It was a very fun band while it lasted!
I also played the Maltese band Totema who had recruited me to hopefully restart the band. We were Darren on vocals, Emerson (me) on guitars/keys, Karl on bass and Mark iz-Zizza on drums. (Note: Toni Sant's blog finally called this to my attention - it was Totema MkII I played in, not the original group! The project didn't work out, and hence we disbanded.)
Music is my world. I work as a guitar tech with Adam Bonello (guitarist for Ira Losco and the legendary Maltese band The Characters).

As the year 2007 is coming to an end, X-Vandals & Martyrium shall be saying goodbye to this year with a live gig at Remedy, next Friday, 7th December from 9.00 pm onwards. Obviously not with traditional Christmas Carols but with a blend of live black metal, old school trash/hardcore/metal music. Hope you can join us for this party & bring out your friends.
