I provide management consulting services to bands. I've been in the music business since 1985. Much like the starving musician, I have a day job, but my passion is helping people make music by doing the behind the scenes stuff.
The majority of my internet viewing time (when I'm not on MySpace) is spent documenting the people and albums that make up Christian Music. If you want to find out about some obscure artists from the 70's visit the CMA. You want to find out who played drums on that album you heard at a friends house, then drop by the CMA. Maybe you want to buy an album you remember from back in the day... you guessed it, visit the CMA.

My only real "criteria" is that the record label must be a major label or distributed by a nationally recognized distribution company.
Please note: I am not dissing the independent bands. In fact, I think that the indie labels put out some of the best and most cutting edge music and I spend a lot of time listening to new, up-and-coming bands. I just have to draw the line somewhere for the CMA, because the project is already too big as it is! If you are an independent band or artist, please introduce yourself! I do want to get to know you and hear your stuff.
As for my other hobby, I enjoy building sites for the web. I'm not the coolest designer, but some folks think what I do is all right. I maintain a bunch of sites for a bunch of folks, and you can see that at my site www.Emidor.com.

The classic hit "Shake You Down" written produced and performed by Gregory Abbott will appear in the feature film "Are We Done Yet" featuring Ice Cube and Nia Long. The film, written by Hank Nelken and directed by Steve Carr is currently playing in theatres nationwide. Other songs written by Mr. Abbott will be appearing in major motion picture releases in the near future.
