Emilia Sosa is a first generation American, born and raised in the
swampland that is New Orleans, finding refuge in the
beautiful city of Seattle after Hurricane Katrina.
With her, Emilia brings the need to sweat in a packed club moving to groovy bass
lines and deep rhythms till the sun comes up.
In the past year, there have been great responses to the release of her first full length album, the Rhythm of Life. So much that there is already a Remix cd out that has been on many different top ten dance charts across the country a has, since its release in December of 07, remained on the Dance Billboard Charts for almost 3 months now.
With help from TJ Rehmi, Real World, and Manhattan based 5 Points Records,
the world wide release of her album has been turning heads. Emilia now has
drumming madman Kevin Sawka, Kent Halvorsen bangin ..s, and guitar genius Micheal Queyrouze pushing the
sweet sounds on stage with her.
