Hello everyone, my name is Emiliano Cantiano and i’m born in Rome the 7/12/1981. I approached this magnificent instrument (the drum) at the age of 17 years (yes I know is a little late right? ... ). Initially I studied on my own, listening and playing over records of bands that I liked (Iron Maiden, Metallica, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, etc. ....) then I began to study with a teacher Massimo Rosari, drummer pop / rock / funk (cooperated with: Niccolò Fabi, Max Gazzè, Ron, T. Desio, Frederick Salvatore, etc. ..) and with him I began to study the basics, click on the study and minus one, the setting of chopsticks, the reading of the tablatures. After 4 years decided to take it to the next level so I joined the Free Drumming Studio with Roberto Pirami where currentlyi attend the course “Hard'N Heavy drumming”. I’ve also took part at clinics and master class with: Aquiles Priester, Virgil Donati, Mike Portnoy, Gavin Harrison, Horacio Hernandez, Akira Jimbo, Dino Verdade, Vinnie Colaiuta, Maurizio Boco, Beppe Basile, Raphael Saini, Federico Righi.

I’m currently the official drummer for the following bands:

Noumeno - Instrumental progressive metal band with which I made a promo cd in 2008, which was followed by an intense live activitie in Rome that enabled the band to share the stage with well known underground band as: Chaoswave and Illogicist. Short also released our first full length album "Trapped", which will host two great musicians: keyboardist Vitalji Kuprji and guitarist Francesco Fareri.

Blind Secrets - progressive metal band formed recently with guitarist Francesco Fareri and bassist from Noumeno Emanuele Calvelli, with which we are currently preparing a repertoire of songs for a full length album.

I was the fill-in drummer for the last 4 shows of their world-tour and i will be glad to be the man behind the drum again also this time.

All my drums sessions will be filmed and this will give me the opportunity to return to record more extreme beats as skank beat, Blast beat, and violent mosh grooves! Keep an eye on MySpace for more news!

KFE Project - instrumental progressive metal band, is a study project that I saw in the company of Francesco Fareri guitarist and bassist Kyle Honea, achieve an album out in 2009 for the prestigious label Lion Music Records. For more infos www.myspace.com / kfeproject

From 2002 till now I have worked with various cover and original bands in Rome performing both live and in the studio.
Among the others:

The Doomsday a metalcore band, with them I recorded the full length album "No Angel wings" in 2006 for the label Goodlife Recordings. With Doomsday i performed live in major events like the Deadfest live in Sweden, with bands like: Shai Hulud, Parkway Drive, Caliban,Hoods, Do or Die, the Maximum HC Fest at Mons in Belgium with Maroon, Length of Time, Burning Skies, Misery Speaks, Narziss, Carpathian; and several concerts in Germany with bands like Callejon, Machinemade God, Fear my Thoughts, Crowpath, Ephel Duath, We recently signed a new record deal with the south-Florida based label Eulogy Recordings / Hand of Hope Records, our latest Ep form them was distributed through Sony BMG Red-Music worldwide.

The Last Green Field, Nu-Metal band with them I was on tour in Mexico for 10 dates in September 2004.
